Aside from heart attack, there are also some other causes of pain in the lower left side of the chest. Acidity is one of the more common causes of pain in the lower left side. If a man or even a woman starts to eat too much, then he or she may experience minor pain in the chest. Most of the time it causes a lot of discomfort, however; when the level of acidity becomes normal, pain in the left side fades away.

Heartburn in the left side

Heartburn can also be caused by gastric imbalance. This normally causes a bit of an alarm for others because the pain intensifies when inhaling. Aside from the aching, there might also be mild irregularity with the heart beat. Heartburn may gradually pass after a few minutes.

Muscle cramping
